Mango season is here — new juice and a chef’s special

The first sweet mangoes arrived at Nakasero market last week, so our mango juice is back on the menu at UGX 6,000. Chef Joseph is also running a grilled mango-chicken special on Fridays and Saturdays — UGX 30,000 with rice or matoke. It will not last past April, so come while the fruit is good.

Sunday family lunch — book the platter early

Our weekend family platter (UGX 85,000, feeds four) has been selling out by 1 PM on Sundays. If you are bringing aunties and cousins, WhatsApp us by Saturday evening so we can set aside your table and start the grill on time. Walk-ins welcome after 2 PM if there is space.

New coffee from Mbale — taste it this month

We switched to a single-origin arabica from Mbale, roasted in Kampala every Tuesday. The filter coffee is brighter and fruitier than our old blend — still UGX 8,000. Ask for a tasting if you are not sure which brew suits you; our barista Doreen will talk you through it without the lecture.
